Otthonunk
We are currently seeking an exchange in San Francisco for Summer 2013.
Our home is 110m2 made up of four bed rooms, two bathrooms and two seperate toilets. Enjoy the large patio deck that wraps around the south and west sides of the house, an extension from the kitchen and living room. The living room, kitchen and all the bedrooms are drenched in natural light. The garden is medium sized and very low maitenance. Our property is in a private impass away from the main road.
The vegetation and light change on a daily basis. Spring and summer in Aix en Provence are very lush, but the climate is still mild through to November.

Our house is one of seven homes in the impasse. Conveniently located to a super market, a vegetable vendor, butcher,baker, tabac, doctors, dentist, hair salon, all only 50 - 80 meters away! A two minute drive to the first of many hiking trails, 2 minute bike ride into the historic town center, 8 minutes from the freeway. You enjoy the best of both worlds: conveniences of city livng hidden behind a bit of the country side.
Shop at the world famous Aix en Provence market on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The rest of the week, a smaller version of the market sets up in the mornings. In the fall the market is extended through the Cours Mirabeau.
For the outdoor lover, lots of hiking trails are accessable by foot from our house. The closest beach is about 30 minutes away from Aix-en-Provence. Wine tasting is a short drive away. Visit neighboring Medieval cities, Roman ruins, and other historic sites.

Rólunk
We are a French-Amercian couple with two sons: Emeric (10) and Jeremie (16). Francois is an Independent Software consultant whom works mostly in Paris. I (Audrey) am starting up my own Yoga Clothing business. We moved to the Paris suburbs ten years ago from San Francisco, California. We finally made the move to sunny Aix-en-Provence in 2009. We love this area for it's wonderful climate, outdoor activities, and easy going culture.
