We have a comfortable house with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms and we are ideally situated in the heart of Europe.
Our garden includes a heated private swimming pool.
Lots of green around our house and much privacy in the garden.

Our location in Blanden (just south of Leuven) combines the advantages of living in a quiet little village and a lot of green with the facilities of a city.
Leuven is beautiful city that has one of the oldest universities in Western Europe. The town still owes much of its character to the numerous university college buildings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The city of Leuven has a magnificent town hall that dates from the 14 th century and it is still used as town hall today.

Thanks to the many students there are a lot of restaurants with meals for every taste at reasonable prices.
There is an attractive shopping area with easy parking.

We think our location is ideally situated for visiting a lot of interesting cities and places in Belgium. We live only 25 Km from Brussels: the capital of Europe.
We have entertainment parcs, historical cities like Gent and Brugges but also good opportunities for cycling and walking in forests only 500 meters from our house.
If you want to see the different cultures and countries in Europe, this is the place to go: from our house you can be in France, The Netherlands and Germany within 2 hours drive!

Until now we have made 18 house-exchanges and we are very respectful of other people’s property.

Because of the children, we are restricted to school holidays.
Summer 2013 holidays: July 1 until September 1.

During Easter or Autumn holidays we prefer to stay in Europe.

We are a Dutch family of four and we moved to Belgium some years ago.
Paul works with a bank in Brussels (Corporate Finance).
His hobby is Flightsimulator.

Jolande is very creative and in her atelier she makes doll houses and miniatures. She also likes reading, cooking and swimming.

Julian (20 years old) is a sportive boy: cycling and table-tennis. He is also fond of computergames; so we have lot of games in our house.
And Jasmine (19 years) is very creative and she can make beautiful drawings. She also likes to cook and she frequently makes cake and pastry for us.

We also have 3 cats: Beau, Lovely and Patch.
They are rather independant; we made a cat-door in the laundry room so they can go in and out themselves. During the summer they are usually outside (catching mice in the corn field behind our house)
